The Carmon Group Places Corey Gibbons as Director of Operations with Universal Electric Corporation.

Cleveland, OH (February 4, 2016) – The Carmon Group is pleased to announce that Corey Gibbons has joined Universal Electric Corporation as Director of Operations.  Corey will have overall global Operations responsibility for Universal Electric’s facilities located throughout the world.  Additionally, Corey will also be a part of Universal Electric’s executive leadership team which is comprised of several functional leaders within the business.

Corey brings 15 years of Operations and Lean leadership experience to Universal Electric.  Prior to joining the company, Corey was employed with Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Global Director, PPI Business System (Lean) where he was responsible for the development and deployment of Lean / Operational initiatives for Thermo’s facilities worldwide.  Previous to his tenure with Thermo Fisher, Corey was employed by the Danaher Corporation.  Among his various Lean and Operations-related roles, Corey’s most recent assignments within Danaher included the Operational management of a manufacturing facility and Danaher Business System (DBS) Director.  Corey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering obtained from the University of Pittsburgh.
