The Carmon Group Places James Bascom as New Product Development Manager with Vitamix Corporation

The Carmon Group is pleased to announce that James Bascom has joined Vitamix as their New Product Development Manager. James will be responsible for managing the new product development function of their engineering group and will work closely with the innovation and mature products engineering teams, sales & marketing and operations to successfully advance new products for the company. This is a newly created role due to the phenomenal growth of the business both domestically and internationally.

CGI is pleased to announce that Jon Manke has joined Smithers-Oasis Company as their Director, Floral Sales. Jon will be responsible for the oversight of all commercial related functions reporting to their VP/GM.

Jon was recruited from Kent Display, Inc., a world leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD’s) for the retail industry. Prior to Jon’s tenure with Kent Display he was employed by Newell Rubbermaid and Royal Appliance where he served in a variety of Account, Channel and Sales Management roles for each organization.

The Carmon Group recruits Leo Moreau for Kongsberg Automotive as their Technology Manager

CGI is pleased to announce that Leo Moreau has joined Kongsberg Automotive (KA) as their Technology Manager. Leo will be responsible for all materials and technology-related activities for the company.

Leo brings to Kongsberg Automotive a wide variety of new product development accomplishments within the Automotive, Industrial and Polymers industries. Leo holds an undergraduate degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

The Carmon Group recruits Gregory Zenko for ScottCare, Division of Scott Fetzer A Berkshire Hathaway Company

CGI is pleased to announce that Greg Zenko has joined ScottCare as their Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Greg will be responsible for the overall national business development activities for the company and will report to ScottCare’s president.

Greg previously was the Area Vice President of Sales for the North Central, New England and Great Lakes regions for Hill-Rom Inc. Prior to that, he served as the Regional Vice President for MEDIQ, Inc. Greg achieved a B.A. in Business Administration from Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio.

The Carmon Group recruits Christian Trusock for Powerex

CGI is pleased to announce that Chris Trusock has joined Powerex as their Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Chris will be responsible for the overall business development activities for the company and will report to Powerex's president.

Chris previously was the Director of Sales & Marketing for Cincinnati Sub-Zero and prior to that served as the Assistant Director of Marketing for Meridian Bioscience, Inc. He achieved a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from Emory University.

The Carmon Group recruits Rex Plageman for Heat Seal as their Director of Engineering

CGI is pleased to announce that Rex Plageman has joined Heat Seal as their Director of Engineering. Rex will be responsible for the Engineering and New Product Development activities for the company while reporting into Heat Seal’s President / CEO.
Rex previously held a variety of Engineering-related responsibilities for Avtron Aerospace, a design and manufacturer of highly complex capital equipment. Prior to his tenure with Avtron Aerospace, Rex was employed by General Motors where he served in a variety of Engineering and Project Management related roles for the company.

CGI is pleased to announce that Steven Smith has joined MTD Products (www.mtdproducts.com) as Director of Advanced Electrical Engineering Technology. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Engineering, Steven will be responsible for new product innovation specifically in power supply and robotics.
